The Dark Knight, the extraordinary Batman film featuring Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker, was shown by UISG and CAB at the Bijou Theater in the Iowa Memorial Union on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night's at midnight. The place was packed, and it's unfortunately likely that many people were turned away.

The Campus Activities Board and UISG are teaming up together to present The Dark Knight on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at midnight at the Bijou Theater. Admission is $2, which also earns you free pop and popcorn, along with a chance to win classic batman giveaways.
Live Music from the O'Connell Brothers Band, and Well Lit starting at 1:00pm on October 4, 2008 lasting until 7pm at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids, IA. Proceeds will go to the Cedar Rapids Jaycees Charities who lost their building to the flood.

The Iowa Women's Music Festival week of events Sept. 16-21 is presented by Prairie Voices Productions in Iowa City and surrounding areas. Prairie Voices, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, supports and promotes the work of women artists and musicians through the Iowa Women's Music Festival and other events.
