A discussion, potluck, and film showing will be held at the Paul Engle Center (1600 4th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids) August 8th in remembrance of the use of the two atomic bombs on Japan, which occurred August 6th and 9th, 1945.

The atomic bombing of civilians at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan by the United States occurred August 6th and 9th, 1945. This was the only time that these weapons of mass destruction have been used in human history.

May 28th featured a great showing at the Iowa City Yacht Club, with bands competing to appear at Camp Euphoria. We attended and captured video of at least one song from 3 of the 5 bands playing, and will put them here for your enjoyment.
