At Oyama Sushi they offer Japanese food rich with flavor, coupled with friendly service, good sushi, and a pleasant atmosphere. And this isn't even an advertisement.

Perhaps it was the barbecue sauce from my yaki tori, but everything at Aoeshe in Iowa City tasted just a little bit smoky; easily my strongest impression from this unassuming restaurant right next to East West oriental market on South Gilbert.
The place had a nice atmosphere on one half of their dining, but they managed to seat us in the most dark, dingy looking place, just under what might have once been a place for live cooking demonstrations. The lighting was dim and unflattering on that side, but there was a calm, relaxed atmosphere with soft Asian music playing in the background.

Stepping into the Mill restaurant for the second time I recognized my enjoyment of the nice atmosphere. Despite the few water spots on the ceiling panels, the place has a nice, inviting aura.

"Welcome to Coldstone Creamery," cheered the smiling young college girl behind the counter as I entered this unique looking ice cream and slushie place. The elegant design of the inside was complemented by the creamery-like smell wafting through the air.
