Today, Dubuque street from Park to I-80 was backed up for nearly a half mile, as the normally four-lane road had been cut to only two lanes, leaving many drivers stuck in a long line of cars. There were around 100 cars backlogged when we visited the scene at about 4:45 today.

We advise drivers to take alternate routes to get to Interstate 80, including through Coralville or the other side of town.
