Power Problems At Burge Aggravate Students
Apparently due to a malfunction in a steam line, the power went out in the 3rd and 4th houses of Burge residence hall today, along with the lobby, basement, and marketplace. This was complemented by the fire alarm going off at least 3 times over the course of the night, at 1am, 2am, and again at 4pm.
The general feel could easily be discerned from Facebook status messages. Messages included one that said "after the fourth time... the fire alarm gets pretty old", and "after 15 hours of no power, no internet, 3 fire alarms, a spider bite, and 2 mosquito bites...".
