The Mill Means Pizza
Stepping into the Mill restaurant for the second time I recognized my enjoyment of the nice atmosphere. Despite the few water spots on the ceiling panels, the place has a nice, inviting aura. They feature a jukebox, black and white pictures on the walls, expensive looking wood paneling, a just the right amount of light to illuminate the place.
The waiter was very friendly, offering drinks, and checking up on us as needed. In comparison to many of the other pizza options in Iowa City, the service was just slightly better (both Pizza and Dubuque and The Wedge had pretty service-oriented staff).
The pizza itself was delivered hot, with perfectly melted cheese and warm pizza sauce. The crust, it seemed, needed a little more time with the fire underneath, it wasn't quiet as cooked as I might have hoped. But, fortunately, the fact that the cheese was thoroughly cooked yet not burned saved the flavor.
